The agreement accepted on June 8, 2010 in St. Petersburg about relieving from some forms of customs supervision by customs bodies of members of the Customs Union entered into force on 2 January, 2015 as a result of becoming a Customs Union member country. It is defined in its article 2 that the personal baggage of the following people is relieved from customs inspection in the Republic of Armenia:
1. The baggage of the presidents of the member countries of the Customs Union who stopped their powers, and also the members of their families,
2. The baggage of the head of staff of the RA President, the President of the RA Constitutional Court, the President of the RA Court of Cassation, the RA Prosecutor General, the President of the RA Central Bank, the Head of the Security Service of the RA President, if the aforementioned people pass through the customs border due to the implementation of their lines of duty.
