Hrach Makaryan, who died in the Second Artsakh War, studied at the Vazgen Sargsyan Military University.
“He was a long-awaited child. He served as a senior lieutenant for 3 years in Balahovit. “Then he left the military service and said, ‘Mom, I’m tired, but he went to war,'” his mother, Nelli Makaryan says.
Hrach had got married two months before the war.
“He knew that his wife was pregnant, but that did not become a reason for him not to go. “He said, ‘If I do not go, then who will?’
He left for Varanda region on 5 October.
Hrach Makaryan was born on 21 September, 1992. He died on 14 October, 2020 in the battles for the defense of the homeland.
