“He told me I’ll go to the army, I will come, and work in the clinic, I will have everything,” Liana Mejlumyan, the mother of Ishkhan Manukyan, who died in the Artsakh war says.
Ishkhan Manukyan was drafted into the army on 30 July, 2020. He was a serviceman for 3 months when the war began. He fought in the Hadrut region.
Ishkhan studied at the Mehrabyan Medical College. During the war, he provided medical assistance to his comrades-in-arms as well.
Ishkhan Manukyan was born on 19 February, 2002. He died in the battles for the defense of the homeland on 5 November, 2020.
