Marine was born in the village of Talish, of Martakert region. After the war in April 2016, she settled with her family in Mataghis. Since 27 September, she had to come to Yerevan with the children.
In a conversation with Iravaban.net , Marine Sahakyan told that both in 2016 and in this war they lost everything, her husband is an officer. He was injured both during April war and in this one. He has lost his hearing due to a concussion and is likely to lose his job.
