As we informed, on 5 March, a tragic incident had taken place in Gyumri.
According to the police, officers from the operative group who arrived at the scene discovered the corpse of the girl’s mother, Marine K., 43, in the apartment with traces of violence.
Gyumri police officers found out some facts of the incident through the urgent investigative measures taken. A 28-year-old man was found and arrested on suspicion of committing a crime.
He was presented to the body conducting the preliminary investigation.
Gevorg Derzyan, spokesman for the “Sourb Astvatsamayr” Medical Center, said:
“Mother and her minor daughter were beaten in Gyumri. The woman died and the little girl was taken to Gyumri Medical Center with serious bodily injuries.
The child was operated on. Based on the situation, the reanimobil of the ” Sourb Astvatsamayr ” MC left for Gyumri to transferr the child to Yerevan. The situation remains extremely grave.”
