On March 5, at around 14:50 am, Moush Police Department received a call informing that a 13-year-old girl was taken to the Austrian Mother and Child Hospital with bodily injuries from 14 Gyumri Proshyan Street.

The medical emergency station also reported that the mother of the child was dead at home. Investigative teams left for the scene. Examination of the body of a 43-year-old woman revealed that there were injuries on her body. According to preliminary information, the woman was beaten by her close friend during a dispute over domestic issues. The 28-year-old man had also hit her daughter when the latter interfered in the dispute. The woman had died as a result of the injuries. A 28-year-old resident of Gyumri’s Shirakatsi Street was found and taken to the Mush police station, then taken to the the regional investigation department and arrested. Expertise have been appointed. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is underway.
