On 31 March, Deputy Prime Minister, Commandant Tigran Avinyan signed Decision N 27, setting out temporary restrictions on the right of free movement of persons throughout the Republic of Armenia due to the state of emergency, which operates until 23:59, April 12.
- The right of people to move freely throughout the Republic of Armenia is restricted and compulsory self-isolation of persons is established in their permanent residence or other place of their choice in order to limit direct contact with other persons and prevent the spread of infection. The place of self-isolation chosen by the person may not be changed until the expiry of the time limit set by this Decision.
- Free movement of the population is restricted between the regions of the Republic of Armenia and the administrative districs of Yerevan.
- Special checkpoints are set up at places designated by the National Security Service and the Police of the Republic of Armenia until 14:00 on April 1, 2020 to monitor the movement of persons and vehicles.
- Departure and return to the workplace of persons engaged in non-restricted economic activities requiring the availability of a certificate and identity document containing the information specified in Form 1 of this Annex, provided by the employer through a paper or telephone appendix. This sub-point shall commence at 23:59 of 1 April, 2020.
- Movement of persons residing or returning to their place of compulsory residence or compulsory self-isolation by 23:59 on 2 April, 2020.
- Moving for agricultural or horticultural work, hospital and other medical facilities, place of residence or place of residence for persons in need of care, funeral and burial place, through a paper or telephone attachment form attached to the paper or a form attached to the paper or telephone application containing the information specified in Form 2 of this Annex, using the paper or telephone appendix contained in Form 2 of this Appendix.:
- Not more than 500 meters away from your place of residence once a day for physical exercise or biking if you have a sheet and a personal identification document filled out using the paper or telephone appendix contained in Form 2 of this Appendix.
According to the decision, transport of up to 1 passenger in light passenger cars (with not more than 8 seats for passengers) is permitted. In case of transport of persons with mobility, sight and hearing impairments, the transport of the escort (caretaker) of that person is also allowed.
This prohibition is not applicable.
- in case of transportation of children:
- if family members are driving in the car, provided they provide proof of kinship. For the purposes of this paragraph, the family includes the husband, wife, child, parent, sister, brother;
- in case of transportation of employees of the same company.
