Andranik Gevorgyan was perished in the Artsakh war. He volunteered for the war on 21 October.
“Should I sit here when 19-20 year old guys die? What are we living for?” his wife Gayane Gevorgyan says, remembering her husband’s words.
Family members tried to stop him, not to allow him to go to war, but he did not listen to anyone․ “We said it’s not your age, it’s not your place, but he was very patriotic, he did not listen, he left.”
“He woke up at six in the morning and said they were leaving. Only kissed the grandson and said, ‘Grandpa is going to protect you, take good care of your grandmother,'” the wife said.
Andranik Gorgyan was born in 1961 and died on 25 October, 2020 in Hadrut.
