The court hearing on the case of Hayk Alexander Sargsyan, the nephew of RA 3rd President Serzh Sargsyan, has been summoned today at the Shengavit residence of the Yerevan Court of First Instance.

Artur Ghevondyan, who testified on Hayk Sargsyan’s case, said that he left for Russia, Sochi and Odessa after the incident.

Hayk Sargsyan’s lawyer, Yerem Sargsyan, asked questions to the witness. The lawyer asked who bought the flight tickets, he or the Sargsyans, in response the witness said that he and Sargsyans had bought .

“Dear Yerem Sargsyan, if I have had shot, I would have looked into the eyes of the judge, I  said I had shot,” Arthur Ghevondyan said to Hayk Sargsyan’s defender.

It should be reminded according to the indictment, Hayk Sargsyan, on 1 April at around 4 pm in the room located on the ground floor of apartment 14 of building 11 in Tumanyan Street, Yerevan where he was registered, shot in Davit Simonyans abdomen from an illegally acquired and maintained pistol “SIGSAUER” with a purpose of intentional deprivation of life. However could not complete the crime due to circumstances beyond his will.
