The decision on the case of the second President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan and the others on the case of March 1

According to Robert Kocharyan’s lawyer Hayk Alumyan, the lawyers did not appear, as they believe that their clients are being persecuted illegally.

During the hearing, Judge Anna Danibekyan asked Robert Kocharyan what the conditions were like in the penitentiary, whether there were other people in the cell or not.

The health condition of the victims of the March 1 case has worsened.
During the court hearing on the 1 March Case the health of one of the victims in the case worsened. The doctor was sent for to provide first aid outside the courtroom.

As we have already informed, the 21 January hearing on the March 1 case was postponed because the lawyers were not present at the hearing.

Today, the Hearing on March 1 Case of former RA President Robert Kocharian, former Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, former CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov and former Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan will begin in Shengavit residence of Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction.

Judge Anna Danibekyan is presiding over the trial.

Danibekyan noted that the issue of sanction will be discussed in Mihran Poghosyan’s presence.

The trial of former RA President Robert Kocharian, former Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, former CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov and former Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan begins today, on 14 January at the Shengavit residence of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan.

At today’s hearing on the March 1 case, there was a dispute between the parties.

The court is now considering the order in which the petitions are being heard.
