Pursuant to Article 137 of the RA Code on “Administrative Offences” provisions of administrative liability for ticket-less travelling are established.
Thus, ticket-less travelling on rail transport of common use imposes a penalty equal to twenty times the minimum wage.
Ticket-less transportation of children from five to ten years old imposes a penalty:
– ticket-less travelling on shuttle train imposes a penalty equal to three per cent of the minimum wage,
– ticket-less transportation on local and long-distance trains imposes a penalty equal to five per cent of the minimum wage,
– ticket-less travelling of passengers on trolleybus, tram, urban and suburban communication buses, route taxi and subway imposes a penalty totaling to three per cent of the minimum wage.
Payment of the fine does not free the passenger from paying the cost of the trip.
