According to the RA Law on Funded Pensions, the following persons make social payments in the Republic of Armenia:

1. Employees, notaries, and sole proprietors born on or after January 1, 1974.
2. Employees, notaries, and sole proprietors born before 1974, if they have submitted an application for the selection of a pension fund in the manner prescribed by law.
3. Self-employed persons, regardless of age, who have applied for a pension fund choice or have ever made social payments in accordance with the law.
