The law on traffic security provides the terms for the technical inspection of vehicles. Thus, according to the RA legislation, vehicles, operating on the RA territory should be technically examined. Second and further technical inspections of vehicles are carried out in the following intervals: a) the vehicles of general purpose- regularly working transport trolleys, buses, taxis (except for per-passenger taxis entrepreneurs belonging to a passenger-carrying taxis) every 6 months. b) Vehicles, including the fourth year of their issue (including the means of transportation mentioned in the point “a”) once every 2 years. c) the means of transportation, including taxis per passenger-carrying motor-taxis entrepreneurs belonging to the passenger cars, starting with the fifth year of their issue while self-made vehicles or vehicles with unspecified date of issue (except the means of transportation mentioned in the point “a”) once a year.
