Integrity helps to develop Business: Summer Camp

The Summer Camp in Aghveran organized by OSCE Yerevan Office continued its work today, on 14 July.

The regular seminar began with introduction of integrity principles. Advocate Syuzanna Soghomonyan, member of the AYLA Board introduced the notion and components of integrity. Further the youth watched films on the issue and held a discussion. After that the advocate referred to the principle of integrity in business area.

“Trust and integrity are inextricably linked with each other. Why integrity is useful in business? For several reasons: the practical relationship is based on trust; trust is necessary to both relations between the employer and the employee, the company and the client,” said the advocate.

After that the young people were given clear instructions: they should be able to orientate in particular situation and find correct solutions.

AYLA advocate Mariam Zadoyan spoke about the declarations on property and income of the high officials. She explained the purpose of declarations and the procedures of submission. The young people were also taught the skills and technique of monitoring and analyses of the declarations.

Karen Zadoyan, Coordinator of Secretariat of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition and advocate Susanna Soghomonyan, member of the AYLA Board spoke about the public procurements and public surveillance in this area. They introduced the international and domestic legislation of this sphere, explained the notion of public procurement and referred to the applied procedures. Karen Zadoyan spoke about carrying out investigation in the sphere and introduced a number of investigations, including those carried out by the team of Iravaban.net website.
