In Armenia, mediation will become mandatory starting July 1st for resolving a number of family disputes.

These include:

• Divorce
• Determining the child’s place of residence
• Enforcement of alimony
• Division of joint property
• Issues of communication, upbringing and education with the child
• Establishing the order of child visitation
• Amendment or termination of marriage contracts
