Former Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Yuri Khachaturov filed a civil suit against analyst Stepan Grigoryan. The reason was an interview with one of the media on July 30 where he expressed thoughts, which according to the plaintiff allegedly defamed Yuri Khachaturov’s honor and dignity.

Stepan Grigoryan specifically noted that during the April War of 2016, Yuri Khachaturov and other generals had sold lands to Azerbaijan, they received money, did not fulfill their professional and working duty, and when the Armenian soldiers began to liberate those lands, the mentioned persons hindered and did not allow the process to take place.

The plaintiff’s side requires a denial of the mentioned publication, as well as a compensation of 2 million drams.
