Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that Armenia is a close partner and ally of the Russian Federation, and the importance of bilateral relations can hardly be overestimated. RIA Novosti reports .
“You know that Armenia is our close partner, and is our ally. A country with which we are united by many integration formats, and, of course, historical bilateral relations, humanitarian relations, the importance of which is difficult to overestimate. Of course, in such a close dialogue some problems may arise,” Peskov told reporters.
He noted that a dialogue between Russia and Armenia is ongoing at the working level, and expressed hope that all the difficult issues in relations that have emerged recently will be resolved.
