The Moscow Basmanny District Court has decided to detain Shamsidin Fariduni (left photo) and Muhammadsobir Zokirchonovich Fayzov (right photo) for 2 months in connection with the “Crocus” terrorist attack.
They face life imprisonment.
Shamsidin was born in 1998, is married, and has an 8-month-old child. Fariduni was officially employed at the Podolsk parquet factory and registered in Krasnogorsk.
Earlier, photos of him lying on the floor and being tortured with electric shock appeared on the Internet.
Faizov was brought to the court from the medical center. He was injured during detention in Bryansk region and taken to the hospital (during the trial he was in a white coat, a urinary catheter attached to him can be seen).
He is 19 years old, citizen of Tajikistan. He is not married, and has no children. Education: secondary school, temporarily unemployed.
The security forces interrogated him in the intensive care unit with the help of a translator. Previously, before the terrorist attack, Muhammadsobir worked as a hairdresser in Ivanovo region.
According to preliminary information, he was the one who made video recordings during the terrorist attack and was the driver of the white Renault Logan in which the defendants arrived at Crocus.
Both of them accepted the charge.
The other 2 defendants were also detained. All 4 are detained until 22 May.
