French Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne has resigned. The President of that Republic, Emmanuel Macron, announced this on his X (formerly Twitter) page.
The Head of State, which granted Borne’s resignation request, thanked her for her “work in the service of our nation that has been exemplary every day.”
Bourne has headed the French government since May 2022.
