The early opening of the “Zangezur Corridor” (quotation marks of Iravaban.net) is one of the basic elements of a future peace in the region. President Ilham Aliyev announced.
“If we are not given this permission, it will be difficult to talk about peace. All of Azerbaijan’s efforts to establish normal relations with Armenia and good-neighborly relations will fail,” he said at the opening of the IX Baku Global Forum.
According to him, Azerbaijan has the right to demand the opening of the “Zangezur Corridor” (quotation marks of Iravaban.net), as Armenia has signed a corresponding statement.
