On 7 June, 2021, the driver of a BMW X5 car ran over 15-year-old Lilit Hayrapetyan at the Babayan and Northern Beam intersection. The incident took place when the girl was returning home from basketball training. Lilit was taken to “Heratsi” N1 hospital complex with severe bodily injuries, then to “Surb Astvatsamayr” Medical Center.

The person who was hit is Amaras Gasparyan, the brother of Grigor Gasparyan, a member of the “New Armenians” KVN team.

Unfortunately, months later, on 25 January, 2022, the child died in “Surb Astvatsamayr” Medical Center.

Lilit’s father, Karen Hayrapetyan, noticed a number of shortcomings in the work of both doctors and law enforcement officers, about which he spoke with Iravaban.net .

In response to our written inquiry, the “Ambulance” service informed that the call on the case of callissio was accepted by the service at “1-03” and it was passed to the medical staff at 18:34, the staff arrived at the scene at 18:41.

“At the time of the examination, the patient was in front of the car, lying on her back, in convulsions. The patient and the car were near the sidewalk, in the 1st lane,” the answer reads.

Rge answer from “Surb Astvatsamayr” informs that within the framework of the initiated criminal case, the case history has been confiscated, a forensic medical examination is underway, adding that for that reason  it is impossible to give an exact answer to most of Iravaban.net’s questions.

According to the child’s father, an incident was registered the very next day after being taken to the medical center. The members of the “Ambulance” brigade, who took the girl to “Surb Astvatsamayr”, warned that the child should remain lying without any movement.

The surgerey started hours after being transferred to the MC. During the operation, a sensor to measure the pressure of the brain (Sensor) had to be installed, which was done.

The epicrisis provided by the center mentions that Lilit was transferred to “Surb Astvatsamayr” on 7 June, at around 23:55.
