On 7 June, 2021, the driver of a BMW X5 car ran over 15-year-old Lilit Hayrapetyan at the Babayan and Northern Beam intersection. The incident took place when the girl was returning home from basketball training. Lilit was taken to “Heratsi” N1 hospital complex with severe bodily injuries, then to “Surb Astvatsamayr” Medical Center.
The person who was hit is Amaras Gasparyan, the brother of Grigor Gasparyan, a member of the “New Armenians” KVN team.
Unfortunately, months later, on 25 January, 2022, the child died in “Surb Astvatsamayr” Medical Center.
Lilit’s father, Karen Hayrapetyan, noticed a number of shortcomings in the work of both doctors and law enforcement officers, about which he spoke with Iravaban.net .
