“Lil, let me tell you something, you should always remember that our closest and most loyal friends are our parents, and me and you,” Lilia Zakaryan recalls the words of her brother Edgar Zakaryan, who died in the Artsakh war and adds that her brother is her most loyal and closest friend, and she does not talk about Edgar in the past.
He was drafted into the army on 24 August, 2020, and was quarantined until September 15.
According to his sister, Edgar was so kind that he wanted to give his clothes to a needy child. “A 9-year-old child was ready to give his clothes to a stranger. Years later, he gave his life for all of us,” the sister says.
His friend Garik Avanesyan says that he had a happy time with Edgar every hour, minute and second.
“There are few friends like Edgar, I’m one of the few lucky ones to have communicated with him. It was impossible to be upset in his presence. During the war, I was very worried about him. Knowing his type, I was sure that he was ready for anything for the sake of honor and prid,” his friend Emil Grigoryan says.
Edgar Zakaryan was born on 18 March, 2002. He died on 9 October, 2020.
