Levon was injured in the chest: Maybe now the body does not prevent him from being completely free

“If I do not go to serve, who will serve?” Levon Khurshudyan, who died in the Artsakh war, was drafted into the army on 16 January, 2020, served in the Lusakert military unit, then moved to Artsakh, where he was the commander of the “Grad” unit.

“During the months of sergeant studies in Lusakert, when he called, he would say, ‘Mom, I explain astronomy to the soldiers in my free time. It turns out I am all in you, your genes,'” his mother, Lusine Mkrtchyan says.

Within the framework of various programs, Levon communicated with people who have poor eyesight with visually impaired. “One day he gathered us and said that he wanted to involve us in the campaigns so that we, too, though having problems with eyesight could feel the taste of climbing mountains. Levon was in school when he started supporting us during those campaigns,” Sipan Asatryan says.

“Levon never spoke unnecessarily, he always knew when to say, what to say and to whom. He understood people in a strange way,” his friend Lilit Ghazaryan says.

“In fact, I took the hand of the one whose hands would later defend the Motherland,” Sipan says.

Levon Khurshudyan was born on 17 December, 2001. He died in the battles for the defense of the homeland on 19 October, 2020.
