He was a Commander like Eagle, he saved many Soldiers with his Wings: Colonel Ashot Ghazaryan was always the first

Colonel Ashot Ghazaryan, who died in the Artsakh war, took part in 3 wars. Before he was 18, he took part in the first Artsakh war. During the 44-day war he hit 4 enemy tanks. He was posthumously awarded the “Combat Cross” Order of the 1st class.

“He spent his youth in the military unit, participated in all military exercises,” the colonel’s mother Nurvard Grigoryan says.

“My father did not talk about the war, when I was interested in what he saw, what he went through, I knew that it was a pity for him that he lost many friends, but all that only tempered him, made him stronger,” the senior son, Harutyun Ghazaryan says.

According to the son, the father had a principle – to be the best in everything, he did everything possible, and impossible for the army and the soldier.

“He came and said, Mom, I drew water pipeline in positions so that my soldiers could take a bath,” Ashot Ghazaryan’s mother says.

Colonel Ashot Ghazaryan was born on 18 January, 1974, and died on 16 October, 2020.
