Germany’s Bild reports that Germany will close its borders with France, Austria and Switzerland as of Monday.
The newspaper notes that there will be no changes in the free movement of goods and passengers will be able to cross the border only for work.
According to official data, there have been 5,426 coronavirus infections in Germany, with 11 deaths.
