Hayk Alumyan, a member of Robert Kocharyan’s lawyers, team, filed a cassation complaint against the decision of the Court of Appeal on unacceptable of recognition of the use of pledge as a preventive measure against Robert Kocharyan

Notably, on  7 November, the Yerevan Court of First Instance, presided by Anna Danibekyan, rejected the petition of Robert Kocharyan’s lawyers to recognize the use of the pledge as a measure of restraint.

On 20 December, the Criminal Court of Appeal, presided by Judge Lusine Abgaryan, rejected Robert Kocharyan’s defenders’ appeal, leaving the decision of the first instance court in force.
