On 20 December, the Criminal Court of Appeal, presided over by Judge Lusine Abgaryan, announced the decision to change the precautionary measure of the second President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan.

Notably, on 18 December, the hearing of the appeal against the application of pledge was over; the court left the consultation room.

The Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal on the measure of restraint of the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan.
