Unlike the judges in other courts, the judges of the Court of Cassation look more modest with their income and assets declared on the website of the Commission of Ethics of High Ranking Officials.

The four richest judges here are: Davit Avetisyan, Chairman of the Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation, Suren Antonyan, Judge of the Civil and Administrative Chamber, and Judges Gor Hakobyan and Artak Barsegyan from the same Chamber.

At the end of 2011, Davit Avetisyan, the Chairman of the Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation, declared 25 million AMD, 3 thousand EUROs and 24 thousand USD. In 2012, he declared 35 million AMD, 3 thousand EUROs and 14 thousand USD. Mr. Avetisyan’s funds gradually increased, and at the end of 2015 he had 42 million AMD, 8 thousand EUROs and 26 thousand USD.

In 2011 and 2012, Mr. Avetisyan also had other sources of income, receiving over 700 thousand.
His salary for that year was 18 million AMD.

At the end of 2011, Davit Avetisyan’s spouse Manushak Stepanyan an apartment for 47 million AMD ad two garages with 4.8 and 5.3 million AMD. The declaration also informs that she she had sold property for 5 million AMD and recives pension in the amount of 174 thousand AMD, as well as salary in the amount of 714 thousand AMD. In 2012, she also had other sources of income, there is nothing declared in the next years.

Her funds in 2015 totaled to 14 million AMD.

At the end of 2015, Suren Antonyan, Judge of the Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation, had 57 thousand USD, 4.5 million AMD and 2000 EUROs. The judges remuneration in the fiscal year was 11 million AMD.

In 2011, 2012 and 2013 Mr. Antonyan had income from lending activities; however they were not large, from 100 to 250 USD annually. Whereas the interests received by the Judges spouse Adrine Grigoryan were larger: in 2011 she received 557 thousand AMD, and during the next three years the amounts were even larger. In 2015 it totaled to 417 thousand AMD.

In 2015, in addition to other sources of income, the judge’s spouse lended 25 million AMD. At the end of the same year her funds amounted to 4.8 million AMD and 92 thousand USD.

The other judge, Artak Barseghyan in his first declaration represented fairly modest figures and income. So, in 2011 he had 5 thousand USD and 4 million AMD. The salary in the fiscal year totaled to 9 million AMD. There were no major changes in the next year. In 2013, he inherited 80 thousand USD worth property.
The picture in 2014 is different: The judge received as legacy a public facility, declared land plots in 9 points, received a flat and an industrial facility with a total cost of 182 million AMD.
In 2015, Mr. Barseghyan acquired a garage with 192 thousand AMD and an AUDI Q7 QUATTRO 3.6L model car with 19 million AMD.
At the end of the year his funds totaled to 70 thousand USD. The salary in the fiscal year was 11 million AMD.

At the end of 2011, Gor Hakobyan, Judge of the Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation had 33 thousand USD and 2.5 million AMD. In subsequent years, there were no essential changes in the judges funds. At the end of 2015 he declared 4 million AMD, 10 thousand USD and 1500 EUROs.

Until 2015 the judge’s wife had only 2,000-3,000 USD. In the previous year she recived asa a donation a 16.500 USD worth car LEXUS RX 330 model, sold it and bought a car of the same model paying 5 million AMD (about 10 thousand USD.)

His funds totaled to 9500 USD and 1 million AMD.
