On 8 June, the court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork Marash Administrartive districts (Presiding Judge Mesrop Makeyan) ruled a sentence of acquittal.
In the framework of the criminal case the citizen Hovhannes Hovhannisyan was charged with indictment for hitting with hand and feet in different parts of Vachagan Mamikonyan’s body during the quarrel in the flat, and intentionally causing serious damage to the health, closed blunt chest trauma, surface hemorrhage on the left side 
of the chest, fractured ribs of the left side accompanied by a strained left pneumothorax, traumatic brain injury, nasal bone fracture, injuries the right front side of the head, and left apical region of the head, torn wounds, the brush of the right half of lower lip, hemorrhage of the left lower eyelid, after which V.Mekhakyan was taken to “Erebuni” Medical Center. Anna Hovhannisyan was involved in the case as an accused as well. She was charged under the requirements of Article 112, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code.
Advocate Mary Alaverdyan, from the Public defender’s Office was defending the rights of the accused: She said that she had not yet received the judicial act and the court’s grounds was unknown to her.
