The meeting of Foreign Ministers in the “3+3” format in Tehran can become a basis for establishing peace in the South Caucasus, Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian announced.
“The tension in the South Caucasus has already been left behind; a great opportunity has been created for the countries of the region. It is the turn of peace, cooperation and development, we hope that in the next meetings we will witness the active and constructive participation of friendly Georgia as well,” Abdollahian said.
It should be noted that the meeting of Foreign Ministers in the “3+3” format started in Tehran, with the participation of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, Iran and Armenia. Only Georgia refused to participate in it.
