The Tension in Nagorno-Karabakh is growing, Moscow calls for Restraint: Peskov

Moscow is concerned about the growing tension in Nagorno-Karabakh and calls for restraint, Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the Russian President said.

“Of course, we are concerned that the tension is not reducing, and even has a tendency to increase. Despite everything, Russia remains a reliable guarantor of security. We continue our contacts with both Yerevan and Baku, and, of course, we call for restraint on both sides,” Peskov told reporters.

According to him, Moscow calls on the parties to act in the spirit of the previously signed tripartite document as part of the settlement of the situation, “of course, taking into account the new realities that have emerged since then.”
