I enjoyed life, I had everything, but I feel I have little time left to live: The words of deceased Aram Petrosyan

“He was very concerned about when leaving for the army, he was not sad, he was just concerened. He served in Hoktemberyan military unit for 6 months, was drafted into Kubatlu with the rank of junior sergeant. He was a tank commander,” Karine Harutyunyan, the mother of Aram Poghosyan, who died in the Artsakh war said.

According to her, Aram never complained about the service. “Everything would have gone smoothly if it were not for this damn war.”

Aram was in Jrakan (Jabrail) since 25 September, called his father and said that a war would start. Only father and son in the family knew about it.

The mother last spoke to her son on 2 October. “He was happy. Maybe he had gathered his strength to speak happily, otherwise how could he speak happily from the battlefield?” she said.

According to the mother, one of her son’s fellow servicemen that Aram was a diamond, like whom there will never be anywhere.

“When Aram was already dead, I found a piece of paper in a notebook, it was written, I had everything, but I feel I have little time left to live. I enjoyed life, I achieved everything I wanted.”

Aram Poghosyan was born on 22 October, 1997, and died on 5 October, 2020 in the battles for the homeland.
