Lieutenant Tigran Mikoyan resisted the large-scale military operations of the enemy for two days, keeping firm the height entrusted to him. He fell from an enemy sniper bullet on 29 September.
On 12 October, the Artsakh Defense Army announced the news of Tigran Mikoyan’s death.
Tigran was born on 21 January, 1997. In 2014 he graduated from the basic (high school) college school of the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan, he was supposed to become a journalist, but he chose the defense of the homeland and entered the Vazgen Sargsyan Military University.
Friends tell how devoted Tigran was to his service and his soldiers. When he was on vacation, he only spoke about the army.
“The regiment is my home, the posts are my vacation home,” his friend Davit Harutyunyan remembers Tigran’s words.
