The head of the Lebanese “Red Cross” organization informs that there are 2200 wounded as a result of the explosions in Beirut, but the number is not final.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health says 30 people have been killed (2,500 injured) in an explosion in Beirut.
According to several media outlets, the explosion in the port of Beirut damaged the building of Rafik Hariri International Airport.
The photos show, presumably, the damaged front of the international terminal.
At the moment there is no information about possible changes in the schedule of the capital’s airport after the explosion in the port.
The RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that the devastation is significant in the Armenian-populated districts, as well as in the whole of Beirut. At the moment, there is preliminary information about the death of one Armenian, there are also several Armenians with various injuries, mainly in the houses, from the breaking of glass.
The building of the RA Embassy in Lebanon was partially damaged by the explosion.
The details of the possible victims, the wounded, the devastation caused by the explosion are being clarified, additional information will be provided about them.
According to NA deputy Hrachya Hakobyan, there are 2 Armenians among the wounded.
