Relatives of Avetisyan Family who were murdered in Gyumri demand to carry out the preliminary investigation of the case as effectively as possible, so that there are no actions that are conducted with delay or omissions, and what is more important they want to be informed about the process of investigation in the order provided by the law.
Today the Elder daughter of the murdered family Lusine Avetisyan, her husband Yegor Adamyan and Arthur Koshtoyan, as well as Arthur Koshtoyan, the husband of the younger daughter of the family told to the journalists. The mentioned people were recognized as successors of the victims.
Speaking about the hypothesis that Pemyakov allegedly entered their house to ask for some water, or whether the Russian soldier knew any member of their family, Lusine Avetisyan said,
“He was serving for only a month, and could not have any relations with our family members. I should have been aware if even a cup will be removed from its place in our house. The family had not even tapped anyone’s foot. My hypothesis is that he entered our home because three generations were living there. That idiot comment that he entered our home for water do not go in my brain.” Lusine Avetisyan also mentioned that it was strange for her that the neighbors had not heard the shots.
The next primary request of the relatives was to hand Permyakov to the Armenian Law Authorities. Whereas this requirement had been included in the letter of to the General Prosecutor Gevorg Kostanyan to his of Russian counterpart.
Yerem Sargsyan, the representative of the victims’ successors said that Gevorg Kostanyan had asked to pass the procedure to the Armenian side, which he does not consider as surrender of the culprit. However, starting from the beginning of examination the defendant’s absence could lead to deadlock in case.
To the question whether the victims’ successors send the motions and applications to the Armenian or to the Russian side, Yerem Sargsyan informed that he and the successors and their representatives Arayik Zalyan, Arthur Sakunts and Tamar Baghdasaryan had discussed and decided not to apply yet to the Russian side for involvement of the victims’ successors in the case that they had initiated.
They considered that the procedure of the case is illegally under th their disposition, and with such application they may legalize their actions. In additionthe information they have is really little and they can receive it without involvement.
Yerem Sargsyan referred toi the expertise carried out in the framework of the case as well. Bor this moment only the results of pharmacological and chemical examinations are known. According to the results no drugs or other substances were found in organizms of the murdered family persons, Permyakov or his fellow soldiers.
The result of ballistic expertise conclusion are not yet known, though a contrary information was circulated in media.
The relatives also informed that only three cell phones were missing from the house after the incident. Lusine Avetisyan told that the jewelry of her murdered sister was in place; her mother’s gold earrings were on her ears as well.
