How are the cases in courts distributed among judges?

Distribution of cases among judges and formation of collegial court meetings in cases set by the Article 21.3 of the Judicial code are implemented through a computer program. Running the computer program ensures data security, excluding possible external intervention.

If the case distribution through a computer program becomes impossible because of an overwhelming power, then cases, in accordance with the alphabetical order of the judges` surnames, are distributed among judges by the president of the court immediately after entering the cases. In this case the president of the court immediately informs the president of the Court of Appeal and the Council of Court Presidents in a written form. Illegal intervention into the procedure of computerized case distribution among judges generates criminal responsibility.
