Ms. Valentina Tsatryan was forcibly displaced from the occupied Artsakh Republic. She told about the days of her deportation from Khnatsakh in the framework of “Artsakh: Armenian Genocide 2023: Stories of Survivors” documentary project.
She left three houses in Artsakh, now there is no table or chair in the house where she is living.
Mrs. Valentina says that on 19 September, 2023, when the unleashedanother aggression, she panicked because her grandchildren were at school.
According to the woman, the road and Hakari bridge were difficult to cross.
“They tortured us so much on the way. I do not know who they compared my husband with, Vagif Khachatryan or Mosi. They stopped us, took us out of the car, took my husband to X-ray, and X-rayed the car. We had taken a TV with us, they threw it and broke it. They threw away our documents. My husband understands their language, he later told me that they told each other whether to catch him and take to Baku. My husband said, he was already scared there. “I have not seen tears in my husband’s eyes since his mother’s death, I saw them during this fight,” our interlocutor said.
