“My son is a good person,” the mother of Alisher Kasimov, one of the defendants in the attack on “Crocus”, said after her son’s arrest in a conversation with journalists. According to the 59-year-old woman, Alisher worked in a cafe as a cook. He has three children, one, two and three years old. The apartment, which Alisher provided on rent to the accused of committing terrorism, was purchased with a mortgage.

Journalists asked the woman why her son wrote in the apartment rental announcement that they give apartments “only to Russians”, and the apartment was rented by people from Tajikistan, she answered that Kasimov was offered “good money” for it.
The media reports that Kasimov provided on rent an apartment to two men from Tajikistan, who convinced him that they came to Moscow to earn money and do construction work. Before the transaction, he consulted with his mother.
