The Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court officially comes into force on 1 February in Armenia, which thus becomes the 124th State party. French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies wrote on his X social network, referring to Armenia’s accession to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
“A courageous decision by Armenia which contributes to the fight against impunity,” the Ambassador noted.
