Russian President Vladimir Putin has wished success to Armenia during its upcoming presidency in the Eurasian Economic Union, “RIA Novosti” informs.
Armenia will assume the EEU presidency on 1 January, 2024.
“Dear friends, from 1 January, Russia transfers its chairmanship functions in the EAEU to Armenia. I would like to wish success to our Armenian colleagues and friends. Of course, we will provide them with all the necessary assistance,” Putin said during an extended meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
