The reason for the fall of the bomber in Yeysk was that two gulls got into the engines of the Su-34. This circumstance led to the fire and the crash of the aircraft. Law enforcement agencies informed TASS about this .

“Their [gulls’] remains were found by experts while examining the wreckage of the aircraft,” the agency was told.
Let us remind that the Su-34 bomber of the Russian Ministry of Defense crashed on the evening of 17 October in Yeisk, Krasnodar Krai, in a residential area. A large fire broke out in the 9-story building due to the ignition of the plane’s fuel, as a result of which the number of dead reached 15, including 3 children. There are 19 victims, 5 of them are children.
Mourning was declared from 17 to 19 October in the Yeisk region.
