Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Donbas “when the time comes”, Dmitry Peskov his Press Spokesman said.

“As for the trip of the President, I have no doubt that when the time comes, such a trip will take place,” he said in an interview with “Izvestiya”.

According to Peskov, the state has extensive plans for the development of these areas.

“You see that construction continues, new facilities are put into operation, energetic efforts are being made to restore all life support systems, such as water supply, electricity supply, social facilities, active work is being done,” the Kremlin Spokesman added.

Let’s remind that Russia has been carrying out military operations in Ukraine since 24 February. According to Vladimir Putin, the ultimate goal of military operations is “the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions that will guarantee the security of Russia itself.”
