The authorities of Paris have canceled the implementation of the events scheduled for 31 December on the Champs Elysees, dedicated to the New Year. “The celebrations scheduled for the night of 31 December have been canceled following government announcements, as well as the proposals of health and police,” RIA Novosti quoted city officials as saying.
According to BFMTV, the concert and the traditional fireworks will be canceled by the decision of the municipality.
