My son’s dreams were half fulfilled, but I will fulfill and will wait for my child: the mother of the killed soldier Vahan says

Vahan Grigoryan, who died in the Artsakh war, served in Martuni in the anti-tank platoon. He was a 2nd year student of the University of Architecture and Construction.

“He had to return, continue his education and work. Our home conditions are not so good, he said, I will come and do everything, but my son’s dreams did not come true, I will fulfill them,” his mother, Sona Mkrtchyan says.

The sister, Ani Grigoryan, says that her brother dreamed of becoming a programmer.

“He was a very disciplined soldier, his commanders told. He was often encouraged with diplomas. During the war he did not tell us what was happening there. He said everything was normal, we were in a safe place, but they took part in very hot battles,” the sister says.

While talking to his mother, Vahan said, “Mom, what does the world think?” “I used to say, ‘Dear Vahan, it will end soon, where could we know that we should face hard and torturous days,” the mother recalls.

Vahan Grigoryan was born on 23 July, 2001. He died on 23 October, 2020 in the battles for the defense of the homeland.
