Hrant Chilingaryan, who died in the Artsakh war, was drafted into the army on 9 July, 2019. He served in Gyumri, then moved to Talish.
“When the war started he did not call for six days. Then he called and said, “Mom, I’m fine. There is no connection, do not worry about me, please be fine,” his mother, Nvard Chilingaryan says.
She last spoke to her son on 13 October.
“It was not my son’s talking, he was very upset, he said, ‘Mom, I will not call for a few days,'” the mother said, adding that several days had already lasted for months.
Hrant Chilingaryan was born on 30 March, 2001. He died in the battles for the defense of the homeland on 14 October in Mataghis. He was posthumously awarded the Combat Service Medal.
