The Prime Minister Considers Gas Supply Management not an Easy Task

Sometimes it seems so easy to agree with the countries that provide gas supply and to supply cheap gas into the Republic of Armenia. This is not an easily solved problem for any country in the world. Tigran, Sargsyan, the RA Prime-Minister spoke about this in the National Assembly today, as he introduced the New Governmental Program.

“Solution of this problem includes a large number of factors, and currently, the Government of the Republic of Armenia uses all its possibilities to ensure the possibly low prices for gas that is provided to the economy of the Republic of Armenia.” Tigran Sargsyan noted.

He informed that they had agreed with the Speaker of the national assembly that the hearings on these themes should be held in the NA, and the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, as well as the head of the State Commission Regulating Public Services would reply to all issues of concern.

“I want to add that the negotiations, that are aimed to find solutions of to some problems, are currently in process in Russia on the highest levels,” the Prime-Minister added.

Iravaban.net has informed earlier that the Government shall subsidize 30 percents of the rise in price of Gas.
