Scout Gagik Poghosyan saved many lives; he received a fatal wound from behind

Daniel Poghosyan, the father of Gagik Poghosyan, who died in the Artsakh war, was a participant in the First Artsakh War. When the son decided to study at the Vazgen Sargsyan Military University, the father said, “Do not go, look at us, have pity on you,” and the son replied, “Why? You could, and I cannot?”

“He was an officer in Jrakan when the war started. He was a sacout, he did not say anything. “He just said everything was OK,'” the father says.

According to him, Gagik saved many lives, many of them got out of the blockade thanks to him.

“One of the boys said that Gagik told him that if I was not hit from behind, nothing would happen to him. The shell exploded next to him, the debris came from behind,” the parents say.

The mother says that Gagik came on a mission, he fulfilled his mission, and he saved the lives of many boys.

Gagik Poghosyan was born on 16 April, 1995. He died on 14 October, 2020 in the battles for the defense of the homeland.
