They come and thank that Hamlet saved them from the blockade: He was a scout, an artist

Hamlet Hovhannisyan, who died in the Artsakh war, had served in 2012-2014.

The mother, Gohar Kirakosyan, says that her son had many hobbies and interests. He started writing fairy tales in the 3rd grade.

“He was very interested in history, army life, and intelligence. Maybe they paved the way for him,” she said.

According to his mother, when Hamlet returned from service he was very impressed with his profession as a scout, he said that he wanted to become a military intelligence officer, to continue his service.

“When we started attending national dances with Hamlet, it brought us closer to patriotism,” his brother, David Hovhannisyan says.

During the quarantine days, Hamlet began taking distance painting classes. Hamlet had only 6 paintings and left an unfinished canvas, “Stormy Sea”.

“Hamlet is still a mystery to us. He combined everything himself. He knew his mission, what he had to do. Going on combat missions, he did not take a military intelligence card with him.”

Hamlet Hovhannisyan was born on 27 October, 1994. He died in the battles for the defense of the homeland on 19 October, 2020, on the outskirts of the village of Saratak.
