Davit Zakaryan, who died in the Artsakh war, was drafted into the army on 10 January, 2019. He served in Mataghis, was a machine gunner.
“He used to say that keeping a post is a sacred task, I will not stay in the military unit, I will go up to a post,” his uncle Artak Zakaryan told.
“I was counting the days so that David would come home sooner to understand that he came home from danger. One day I thought, if something happens to my son, what should I do, I did not understand why such a thought came to me,” his mother, Lana Abrahamyan says.
The mother last spoke to David on 26 September. “He said that if he came he should bring a diplomas with him, he would tell everything.He neither came nor brought it,” the mother says.
David Zakaryan was born on 30 September, 2000. He was killed by an enemy sniper bullet on 27 September, three days before his birthday.
