The fire was pouring from above, Movses, with his small body, would come out of the hiding place and start firing

“He was a man of art, he attended song and guitar classes, he began dancing at the age of 6 and dance became an inseparable part of him, the group was his second family,” Aida Sargsyan, the mother of Movses Sargsyan, who died in the second Artsakh war, said.

Movses was drafted into the army on 16 July, 2019, served in Lusakert, then moved to Artsakh.

“During the war, when he called, he said he would come and dance, the boys in military clothes, the girls in Armenian costumes, we should definitely dance on the theme of war,” the mother said.

According to the mother, the son calmed her down before going to the army, he said he would pay his debt for 2 years, and return.

“During the whole war they were in the positions of Martakert, then there was an order that they should be transferred from Martuni to Shushi, he died on the way to Shushi.”

Mother said that her son called her every day during the war, but did not call her for one day – 6 November. The next day the mother called the commander and learned the news.

“His friends in arms came and told her that Movses was very friendly and how he fought. They were surprised, they said fire was pouring from above, Movses, with his small body, would come out of the hiding place and start firing,” the mother said.

Movses Sargsyan was born on 19 June, 2001, and died on 6 November, 2020.
